Vegan Buffalo Sauce

The first time I made this, it was for buffalo tofu bites. I couldn't get enough of it! I admit, I put it on everything. (I might have been known to eat it with a spoon, lol.) I usually make a double or triple batch and freeze some for later use - because I ALWAYS have buffalo sauce on hand! It's addictive. Serious yum.

Easy One Pot Pasta

If I'd known making pasta could be this easy - without all the draining/straining mess - I'd have been making pasta this way for years. I don't know if I'll make it the "old way" again...this is easy, quick, and delish! And it makes a TON of food.

Five Ways to Enjoy Avocado

Avocados are one of nature's super fruits - super tasty and super versatile! They are nutrient dense, full of vitamins and anti-oxidants including vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin E, vitamin B6, folate, magnesium, lutein, potassium, and beta-carotene. They contain good fats and are naturally sodium and cholesterol free. Avocados can act as a “nutrient booster” by helping increase the absorption of fat-soluble nutrients like vitamins A, D, K, and E. PLUS they are delish! Check out these five ways to enjoy more avocados as part of a healthy vegan diet.

White People, Please Stop Saying All Lives Matter. Your Privilege Is Showing.

I'm sure the title of this post will upset a number of individuals. If you're one of them, take a few deep breaths, open your mind, and read this post completely, with an open heart. "All Lives Matter" as a response to the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement is misguided at best, and downright offensive at worst. I'm not going to give you a history lesson about the BLM movement, and how and why it developed. If you care enough to have an opinion about the BLM movement, you should care enough to educate yourself about the facts behind the movement and what it truly represents. It does not in any way imply that ONLY black lives matter;  the message is that black lives matter, TOO .

Tahini Lime Dressing

I saw this dressing on an episode of "The Chef and the Dietitian" and I couldn't WAIT to make it. This is, hands down, the best dressing I've ever had. And it is incredibly healthy to boot! Thanks so much, Plant-Based Dietitian Julieanna Hever and Chef AJ. They call it their "house dressing," and I am sure you're going to love it.

Ten Ways to Use Lemon Essential Oil

Lemon essential oil is sometimes referred to as "liquid sunshine" - for a good reason! It is one of the most versatile essential oils, it is quite inexpensive, and it is an aromatic powerhouse. It has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and mood enhancing properties. Read on for 10 every day uses of lemon essential oil.

Nutritional Yeast Cheesy Sauce

Nutritional yeast is a deactivated yeast that is chock full of protein and vitamins, especially B-complex vitamins. The flavor is often described as nutty or cheesy...I think it's fantastic! I enjoy this sauce more than I ever enjoyed a cow's milk cheese sauce. And bonus: it's ready in less than 10 minutes!

Five Powerful Morning Rituals

Let me be honest: I am NOT a morning person. I can't stand using an alarm clock - and with or without one, I do not wake up chipper. I'm slow to rise, and slow to get my bearings in the morning. Over the past few years, I've developed a few morning rituals that help me get in gear to face the day.
